Radio Regent is an internet radio station operated by the Focus Media Arts Centre (previously known as Regent Park Focus).
Our radio programs are hosted by a variety of diverse people, ranging from those with years of experience in FM radio broadcasting, as well as people completely new. The Regent Park Focus Audio Programs provides hands-on practical training to participants seeking to learn how to produce and present a radio show or podcast. Guided by staff and professional broadcasters with experience, you will learn the skills you need to host your own live broadcast on the Radio Regent's radio station. If you have no previous experience and want to become a radio DJ, then this course provides a great foundation from which to build your career. If you already have some radio experience and want to further your knowledge and expertise, then take a look at the Advanced Radio Course involving: portable recorders and how to use them; interview techniques and phrasing your questions, tips, tricks and pitfalls; audio editing; creating ID's, trailers and PSA's; Radio dramas; and Radio Documentaries; Regent Park Focus also provides after-school and summer programs for students and young people.
